Heading for Simplicity.

No walls, no ceilings. On July 4th, 2026, we’re setting sail in Trondheim, Norway. For the next year, our zip code is The Horizon. Europe, Africa, Central America, Canada: Here We Come!

Note from the Helm:

Reaching 70 is the perfect time for exploring. It is not a time for leaving things behind, but for fulfilling a dream that has been decades in the making.

For years, I’ve felt a low, persistent hum that doesn’t come from the city; it comes from the North Atlantic. I’ve realized that while a harbor is the safest place for a boat to be, that’s not what boats—or people—are built for. This journey isn't just about reaching the Caribbean; it’s about answering the question of what happens when you finally stop saying "one day" and start saying "today."

The transition from the known to the unknown is a strange alchemy. One moment, I am tied to a dock with a shore-power cable and a high-speed internet connection; the next, I am a tiny speck on a blue-water desert, governed only by the trade winds and the barometer. I am trading the "default life" of schedules and notifications for moments of presence.

I don’t know exactly what this journey has in store for me. There will be days of heavy seas and broken gear, just as there will be afternoons of golden light and dolphins jumping in the bow wake. But that uncertainty is exactly why I’m going. To cross an ocean in your own sailboat is to reclaim your time and your spirit. From the rugged coast of Norway to the turquoise bays of the West Indies, I invite you to follow along—not just for the destination, but for the moments in between where life actually happens.

My Moonraker.

I fell in love with her 13 years ago. She’s nine years younger than me—and at least as experienced. She has been around the globe three times, but this year, we go together! Leaving from my hometown of Trondheim, Norway, we'll cross the Atlantic to the West Indies and back again. Fair winds and following seas!

Join us for a Leg - or a Season.

The core crew is ready for the long haul, but we are opening up for co-sailors for several stages of our voyage. Whether you are looking for a week of island hopping or a month of ocean passage, our route is designed for flexibility.

"Four laps, two hemispheres, and one great Atlantic Circle: A journey that spans 14,000 miles of blue-water history."
